Our family company was started by George Pink in Pasadena, California in the late 1920’s, our family has been serving the San Gabriel Valley’s moving and storage needs ever since. Our current state of the art storage facility is in Monrovia, California.
In 1928 moving on a Model T truck with hard rubber tires is a little different than things are today. George moved household goods but in addition moved partial railroad car loads out of the train station on South arroyo parkway, moving anything from pianos to boxes of cigarettes. George’s oldest son Fred joined the company after serving in the navy in world war two and worked until his retirement in the 1980’s. Howard, Fred’s young brother, entered the company after serving in the Army during the Korean war. The two sons ran the company until the 1970’s when Howards four boys started joining the company. Bill, Jeff, Doug, and Matt have been partners since the early 1990’s. Bill has retired and Doug is in the processing of retiring. Jeff and Matt along with Jeff’s two sons, Brandon and Riley currently run the company.
For almost one hundred years, Pink transfer has provided quality moving and storage services.
